Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., resident and Detroit, Mich., native Barbara Jean Allison, 72, was born March 22, 1944 and died April 15, 2016 at Pruitt Health in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison and she was the daughter of the late Temple James and Evelyn Grey Roberts Wright. She was married Feb. 14, 1986 to Burlen Bob Allison, who preceded her in death.
