Barbara Ann Wolfe, 84

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Barbara Ann Wolfe, 84, was born Dec. 11, 1938 and died Jan. 27, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.


A retired employee of Flow Honda in Winston-Salem, N.C. and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Grace Jacobs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Majors and brother, Ricky Jacobs.


Ms. Wolfe is survived by daughter, Candice (Ronald) Craig of McMinnville; son, Jeffrey (Phyllis) Hobbs of McMinnville; grandchildren, Brandi (Garrett) McCormick of McMinnville, Justin (Stephanie) Hobbs of Nashville, Prudence (Micah) Little of McMinnville and Courtney (John) Boyd of Rock Island; sister, Janice Tynes of North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Bailey McCormick, Adelynn McCormick, Nova Jade McCormick, Winter Dudziak, Violet Little, Layla Boyd and Conner Boyd and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service was held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 31 in High’s Chapel with


Cody Boston officiating. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation was Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NHC Healthcare in McMinnville.
