Barbara Ann Turner Northcutt, 80, of McMinnville (Centertown community) died Sunday, Jan. 31 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 23, 1935 in McMinnville and was a homemaker, and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by parents, John Austin Jones and Crystal Louise Smith Jones Womack and her husbands, Charles Huel Turner and Harley Northcutt.
Survivors include her children, Belinda (Mike) York, Jan (Mike) Hutchins, Neil (Sallie) Turner, and Philip Turner; grandchildren, Tavia (Chris) Jensen, April Turner, Callie (Dylan) Stephens, Cassie Hutchins, Ethan Charles Turner, and Karagan Turner; great-grandchildren, Taylor Jensen, Alyson Jensen, Sophia Stephens, and Rawley Stephens; sister, Frances West; brothers, James Jones, Fred Jones, and Carl Jones, and special friend of 74 years Polly Cagle. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tony Lawrence and Brian Reed will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lunch with Love Program at Ivy Bluff Church of Christ or to Meals on Wheels.
