Aris E. Ritchey, 83, of McMinnville died Friday, Aug. 3, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born June 5, 1929, in Warren County and was a retired employee of the winding department with Magnetek Century Electric, a U.S. Army veteran, and a Presbyterian. Mr. Ritchey was preceded in death by parents Frank and Josie Smith Ritchey, sisters Mary Ellen Melton and Mazil Lawrence, and brothers Johnie, Floyd, and Dyris Earl Ritchey.Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Brady Ritchey of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Johnny Saffle of Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny Ray and Dee Dee Ritchey of Summerville, S.C., grandchildren Lilly Merie Saffle, Mattie Elizabeth Saffle, and Aiden James Ritchey, and sister Rose Zetta Page of Murfreesboro.Funeral service is 1 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
