McMinnville resident and Warren County native Anna Jo Harris, 72, was born Sept. 19, 1943 and died Aug. 19 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.Retired from Carrier Corporation and a member of East End Drive Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George and Cloppie Northcutt Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Ann Haynes, Mary Ann Guest and Beulah Winton; and two brothers, A.C. Thomas and Freeman Thomas.She was married to Robert L. Harris of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Randall Lee Harris and Robert Mandel Harris, both of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and cousin and best friend, Bobbie Mae Shockley and Henrietta Lusk.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Jerry King officiating.
