Amon David France, 93, of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was an air conditioner maintenance worker for ARO, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a Baptist. Mr. France was preceded in death by his wife, Lola France; parents, Daniel and Lou Della France; two brothers, Audie France and Alvie France; and nephew, Billy France.
