Tullahoma resident Amanda Oakes Tate Scheidler, 44, died Nov. 11.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hutchins Tate; brother, Robert Kevin Tate and sister, Marianne Tate Gleason Thompson. She is survived by her mother, Anita Oakes Tate Booker; daughter, Mariah Lynn Scheidler King (Christopher); son, Robert Jacob Scheidler (Kristin) and grandchildren, Brently Lyndon Dale King, Bryson James King and Amaya Rayne Scheidler.
Amanda had a deep belief in God and studied her Bible daily. She was writing a book for people who had been physically abused. Amanda was a very loving and caring person who loved her children more than anything in the world.
To honor her life, Dr. Jeff Wilson will conduct a service Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brentwood United Methodist Church.
