Alfred Paul Ikeard Sr., 71, of Warren County passed from this life Thursday, April 19, at NHC HealthCare, McMinnville following an extended illness.

Paul was born Sunday, Nov. 17, 1946 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Oscar Ikeard and Pearlene Jones Ramsey. He is survived by his son Alfred Paul “Bubba” Ikeard Jr., brother Oscar Lee Ikeard, four sisters Maudie Kennedy, Mae Ikeard, Bobbie Ikeard, and Valerie Miller, close friend Darlene Cantrell, and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nae Nae Ikeard.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jerry Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt.
