Albert Austin Jones Jr., 90, of Spencer died Saturday, June 24, at his son’s home. Mr. Jones was born Tuesday, July 20, 1926 in Monteagle and was preceded in death by his wife, Lemo Jewell Simmons Jones, parents Albert and Lillian Elizabeth Tate Jones, and sister Flora Louise Jones McCoy. He received a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology and an EdS from Tennessee Technological University and a master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
