Agnes Wood Brock died September 21 at her residence following a brief illness.

McMinnville resident and Macon County, Ky., native Agnes “Ag” Wood Brock, 91, was born Jan. 16, 1926 and died Sept. 21 at her residence following a brief illness.
Retired from Oster and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Harlin and Millie Cherry Wood. She was married to Dewey “Dink” Brock, who preceded her in death on June 28, 2003. In addition to her husband of 58 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Dennis Wood; and three sisters, Reba Hillis, Mildred Ross and Elsie Wright.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Barry Moore of Rock Island, Dorinda and Joe Michael Woodside of McMinnville, and Dana and Ronnie Smith of Short Mountain; four grandchildren and spouses, Barrett and Jen Moore of Kentucky, Terrence Moore of Shelbyville, Cheyenne and Amy Smith of Nashville, and Anderson and Holly Woodside of Manchester; 10 great-grandchildren, Slayden, Abbey and Zach Moore, Brence, Braylen, Tage and Takota Moore, Lincoln and Adelyn Smith, and Brock Woodside; special niece, Sharon Young of Ohio; great-nephew, Jim Young of Ohio; and several other family members and good friends also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 at High’s Chapel with Bro. Carl Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High’s. Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or Madison Street Baptist Church.
