Mrs. Adelia Rosalee Taylor, 42, of McMinnville passed from this life on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at her residence after an extended illness.
Adelia was born Tuesday, July 3, 1979 in McMinnville, the daughter of James Haston and the late Connie Bess. She was the wife of Steve Taylor. She was a factory worker and a member of Barren Fork Baptist Church in McMinnville.
Adelia is survived by her husband of five years Steve Taylor of McMinnville, father James Haston and wife Judy of Rock Island, her children Zachary Haston of McMinnville, Conner Taylor of McMinnville, Aimee’ (Justin) Armstrong of Shelbyville, Steven (Destiny) Taylor of Unionville TN, Maicee’ Taylor of Fayetteville, Jaidyn Taylor of Fayetteville, brother Tracy and wife Nora Haston of Punta Gorda, Fla., James Haston of McMinnville, Phillip Haston and fiancee Lacey of McMinnville, Sarah and husband Danny Dillman Jr. of McMinnville, and many neices, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles of Shelbyville, McMinnville, and Punta Gorda Fla., and special friends Tina and Darrell Locke of McMinnville, Misty Beth Martin (also cousin) of McMinnville, five grandchildren Haylee’ Armstrong, Caiden Bain, Kacyn Armstrong, Gracie Taylor, and Paislee’ Taylor.
She was preceded in death by mother Connie Bess, granddaughter Stephanee’ Armstrong, grandparents Sibyl and Hughie Bess, Rosemary Haston, sister-in-law Lisa Nelson, nephew Damien Haston and many aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, and again Tuesday, Jan 4, rom 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of the service in the chapel of the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville with the Bro. Dave Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Viola.
