West Elementary recently had a fun-filled night of science with its STEM Night and Science Fair. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math, and is a new approach that transforms classrooms into an exciting world of curiosity, problem solving and creativity. The student-driven program allows them to take the lead in the project-based learning environment, presenting science and math in real-world connections.
