This marks the first theatrical show for Warren Arts Foundation.

The timeless story of George Bailey and his wonderful life in Bedford Falls, captured on film by Frank Capra in 1946, was adapted for the stage as a musical and will be making its debut in McMinnville this Christmas season. The full-length show will feature a cast of actors of all ages and marks the first theatrical show for Warren Arts Foundation, launched in June of this year.
“A Wonderful Life” will be directed by Chad McGee, with musical direction by Kennette Dixon. Sheri Garrett will serve as the stage manager and producer.
“We are excited to bring this heartwarming story to Warren County for the holidays. The production is true to the classic movie with that added fun of some great musical numbers that will have audiences toe tapping along,” says McGee.
Auditions for “A Wonderful Life – the Musical” are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 12 from 5 - 8 p.m., at Warren County High School. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script as well as learning and performing a song from the show.
“A Wonderful Life” will take the stage in early December and tickets began being reserved at the recent Warren Arts Autumn Street Fair.  For more information about “A Wonderful Life,” the work of Warren Arts, or questions about auditions, you can like and follow on Facebook @warrenartstn or email warrenartsfactory@gmail.com.  You can click on the SIGN UP link on the Facebook page to join the mailing list to be kept informed of auditions, announcements and volunteer opportunities.
