Warren Arts honored by theater community

Winners were recently announced for the 2019 Broadway World Nashville Awards, a theater website that operates regionally. The nominees were set and audiences voted on regional productions and touring shows which opened between Oct. 1, 2018 and Sept. 30, 2019.

This year, Warren Arts came away with winners in several categories listed below.

Best Actor in a Musical – Kaden Hobbs – “Gilligan’s Island the Musical” 

Best Younger Actor (under age 25) – Kaden Hobbs – “Gilligan’s Island the Musical” 

Best Actor in a Play – Rob Nunley – “The Odd Couple” 

Best Actress in a Musical – Allie Dixon – “Bonnie and Clyde” 

Best Actress in a Play – Sarah Carr – “Dracula” 

Best Play – “Bonnie and Clyde” 

“It’s nice to get the recognition and it is a fan ballot,” said Rob Nunley. “Hopefully, it gets our name out there and gives Warren Arts more exposure. We’ve come away with a lot of awards in different categories both years.”

Warren Arts is located at 5482 Manchester Highway. The organization was founded in June 2017 with a mission of giving local residents an outlet for creativity.
