The Tiny House Roadshow is coming back to Cookeville for the second annual show at Hyder Burks Pavilion this weekend, March 24-26.
This will be the 10th roadshow and the first of the 2017 season. The event will be dedicated to all things related to tiny house living. The roadshow is the brainchild of tiny house designer and builder Dale Geist, of Livingston/ Geist, who works alongside his son, Scott Geist, founded Tiny By Design in 2014. Interest in his work has been fueled by the many programs now being seen on HGTV, and many other channels.
HGTV filmed Geist’s work last year for a segment that is still being broadcast on-demand (Tiny House Hunters, season 2, episode 10).
“The tiny house movement is one of the hottest trends in America,” said Geist. “It is popular among people from all walks of life, young-to-old, and rich-to-poor. It is a cross-cultural phenomenon that is sweeping the country. The roadshow is for anyone who seeks a simpler, less cluttered life, and also those who are just curious.”
Many media outlets are touting this 10th in a series of roadshows put on by Geist as a must see.
The Cookeville show will be held at the Hyder Burks Pavilion on Friday, March 24 from noon till 7 p.m., Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. till 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Tickets to the roadshow are $10 each with free admission for children 11 and under.
