Tennessee Aquarium welcomes scouts
College students and college staff, as well as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, receive half-price admission at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga in February.

During the month of February, the Tennessee Aquarium will offer special half-price admission to members of scouting organizations and college students, staff and faculty members.
The discount applies to aquarium tickets, 45-minute IMAX film screenings, and cruises aboard the River Gorge Explorer, as well as combo ticket purchases.
College students may be enrolled in physical or online institutions from any state and must present a valid student ID or transcript to receive the discount. College faculty and staff must present an employee ID or a pay stub.
Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and all other scouting organizations can receive the half-price discount by wearing their uniform, sash or a scouting activity shirt. Staff of Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts of America are also eligible for discounted admission with the presentation of a valid paystub.
The discount applies to the entire visiting party and is offered on all tickets purchased during the month of February, including repeat visits. Half-price tickets are only available to be purchased onsite the day of your visit.
In addition to enjoying daily encounters with wildlife and the other natural wonders on display in both aquarium buildings, February is an ideal time to visit the interactive displays and colossal models of National Geographic’s Monster Fish traveling exhibit before its departure in April.
On Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month, guests can take advantage of the discount to save a spot aboard the River Gorge Explorer. Each cruise is a relaxing, educational trek through the scenic vistas of the Tennessee River Gorge, aka “Tennessee’s Grand Canyon.” Visit the River Gorge Explorer page on the aquarium’s website to check cruise times. Cruise times are limited and advanced reservations are recommended.
