Students eye final Farmers Market of summer

If you have not had a chance to taste home-grown tomatoes, beans, corn or other vegetables this summer while helping Warren County High School students learn the ropes of business, you have one more chance. The final FFA Farmers Market will be held Monday, Aug. 4, at the school from 8 a.m. to noon.FFA students have been conducting their own Farmers Market during the summer on Mondays at the high school. The students set up displays of their garden-grown vegetables, fresh eggs and canned goods inside the agriculture department on the Hickory Creek Elementary-facing side of the school.The WCHS Farmers Market is considered a supervised agriculture experience to help students learn by doing.
