Saint Thomas River Park Hospital has successfully completed its Joint Commission survey awarding the facility reaccreditation through 2019. Saint Thomas River Park / Saint Thomas Health is a part of Ascension, the largest nonprofit health system in the U.S. and the world’s largest Catholic health system.The survey team visited the inpatient units, procedural areas, outpatient units, and ambulatory surgery center. Surveyors provided a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the hospital’s processes of care, documentation, physical plant and many other important facets of the facility.
