Rock Island Fall Festival
Lions Club presents 42nd annual event
CristieWEB
Cristie Dunlap, surrounded by her craft, takes advantage of a slow moment to work on a crochet character. The Rock Island resident has been crocheting for 30 years.
Everything from Coconut Ridge honey to horseshoe art were available at the 42nd Rock Island Fall Festival. The annual event is held at Rock Island State Park, and is presented by the Rock Island Lions Club. Hundreds of festival-goers gathered at the sand bar area of the park to shop from the various vendors, enjoy delicious food, or take a dip in the cool water nearby.
