Christmas is merrier today for approximately 575 local children, thanks to the Warren County Rescue Squad’s annual Toy Drive. The group seeks toy donations all year long from businesses, civic groups and individuals for the big event. Rescue Squad director Fred Hillis has been involved with the program for 45 years, and he says it’s been going on for close to 50 years.
