Senior citizens, it’s that time again to register for the upcoming Senior Citizen Beauty, Talent and Fun Festival to be held Sept. 9 in the Warren County A&L Fair grandstand. Activities will start at 8:30 a.m. and continue through lunch time.
In 1977, the fair added the event for senior citizens over 60 years of age, and is chaired by Cheryl Mingle. Registration for the many events, as well as the free lunch, is Sept. 5. Advance registration for both must be turned in to the McMinnville Warren County Senior Center. A meal ticket will be available upon registration. More info can be obtained by calling the center at 473-6559.
The lunch is provided and served on site by Dr. Jimmie Woodlee and the medical staff of Raintree Manor, River Park Hospital and SunCrest Home Health Services. Drinks are provided by Dr Pepper Bottling Company.
