The public is invited to take part in the annual Warren County 4-H Poultry Show and Sale Monday at the Warren County Fairgrounds.
The show is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with the sale to start at 6 p.m.
All events will take place in the cattle barn on the fairgrounds.
Participating 4-H members will gather at 5 p.m. with their groups of three Rhode Island Red or Black Sex Link Pullets. These chicks have been raised by 4-H members, with proceeds from the sale to benefit the 2014 Chick Chain.
“This is a wonderful program that teaches children responsibility,” said agent Loren Stinson. “It’s a fun event, and we hope lots of folks will come to support the Chick Chain and the children.”
