Miss McMinnville Princess Pageant director Susan Burks and the reigning Miss McMinnville's Outstanding Teen Anna Grace Smith invite all girls to experience the upcoming pageants. The competitions will take place Nov. 7.

Contestants are being sought for the Miss McMinnville Princess Pageants, a fundraiser for the Miss McMinnville Scholarship Pageant, which is a Miss Tennessee preliminary pageant.
Young girls between the ages of 13 and 18 are also encouraged to participate in Miss McMinnville’s Outstanding Teen, and Teen Princess Pageants. Just recently the age for Teen Princess has been changed by state officials to 18 years of age, but not 19 by March 1, 2016.
The Outstanding Teen pageant is open to girls ages 13 to 17, and cannot be a senior in high school. 
All events are set to take place Saturday, Nov. 7 at Warren County High School. McMinnville Princess competitions will start at 11 a.m. Outstanding Teen, and Teen Princess start at 6 p.m.
Princess Pageant Information
In the Miss McMinnville Princess event, categories are available for girls 0-12 years of age. Competition categories are 0-24 months (Tiny Miss); 15 months-3 years (Petite Miss); 4-6 years (Little Miss); 7-9 years (Young Miss) and 10-12 years (Preteen). The winner in the Young Miss category has the opportunity to be Miss McMinnville’s Iris Princess at Miss Tennessee in June, 2016.
Entry fee is $35, with optional categories also available. Applications will be at Kathy’s of McMinnville, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Ashley’s Attic, Topz, Ready, Set, Grow; Country Bumpkin, Beauty Queen Boutique and Pearls N Pinstripes.  The deadline to enter is Oct. 28.
Last year’s winners, Petite Miss Tenlee Medley, Little Miss Jadian Keith, Young Miss Dallis Melton and Young Miss Addison Puckett are all expected to be present for the festivities.
Outstanding Teen, and Teen Princess Information
A Miss McMinnville 2016 was selected at an earlier pageant, with Peyton Kirby Wilson claiming the title. The search is now on for our Outstanding Teen, and Teen Princess.

Girls should be between 13 and 18 years of age, and not a senior in high school, and a Tennessee resident for at least six months.
Both categories will compete in interview, sports or fitness wear and evening gown. Outstanding Teen contestants will also have a talent requirement. Both winners will compete at the state level in Jackson on March 5.
Applications must be submitted by Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.
The reigning Miss McMinnville will be joined by the current Outstanding Teen Anna Grace Smith, and Teen Princess Kaylee Dixon.
