McCormicks mark 60 years
Mr. and Mrs. Richard McCormick are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today with their large family. They wed Feb. 24, 1956 at Mt. Leo Church of Christ.

Richard and Mariecha McCormick are observing a milestone today, their 60th wedding anniversary.
The couple wed Feb. 24, 1956 in the home of Mt. Leo Church of Christ preacher Esten Macon.
He is a Warren County native, growing up in the downtown area of McMinnville during the early years. He held employment at different places, but retired from Cumberland Lumber Company.
Mrs. McCormick was the former Mariecha Bates from the Tullahoma area. Much of her time went into the rearing of their 10 children and caring for the home. Today the couple enjoys being together and taking rides in the hill country. They are both longtime members of First Assembly of God.
Celebrating with their parents include children and spouses, Betty and Mike Johnson, Garry and Linda McCormick, Jerry and Verna McCormick, Deborah Kester Roller, Wanda McCormick, Connie and Dale Delong, Melissa and Randy Smith, Terry and Tonya McCormick, Timmy and Virginia McCormick and Tamisha and Carl Burgess. 
They have 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
