Little Miss Valentine Pageant set for Feb. 22

The Morrison Ruritan's 2014 Little Miss Valentine Pageant will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Morrison School gymnasium.
Contestants must be between the ages of 3 and 6 years old and not be in first grade, although they can be in kindergarten. They must live in the Morrison school area, have a grandparent who lives in the Morrison school area, be related to their sponsor who lives in the Morrison school area, have a business sponsor whose business is located in the Morrison school area or have a parent who teaches at Morrison School.
There are no restrictions on dress or make-up. A photo for the newspaper, along with a $25 sponsor fee must be turned in with the application on or before Friday, Feb. 14.
Applications can be picked up at any of the following locations:  First National Bank in Morrison, Security Federal in Morrison, Homeland Community Bank in Morrison, Morrison School, Morrison City Hall, Morrison Library, Morrison Hardware, Ashley's Attic, Kathy's of McMinnville, Tiaras and Tadpoles and the Warren County Trustee's Office. 
Applications must be submitted to Security Federal in Morrison or W.C. Trustee's office on or before Feb. 14.
 A rehearsal will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
The recipient of the 2013 crown was Lierra Mai Baines, 4-year-old daughter of Michael and Sheronda Baines. She is expected to crown this year's winner.
