Little Miss Valentine named

Kate Elyse Gribble is crowned the 2015 Little Miss Valentine in a pageant held Saturday at Morrison School.

Kate Elyse Gribble, the 5-year-old daughter of Darrell and Jennifer Gribble, was crowned Little Miss Valentine Saturday in the annual pageant. It is sponsored by Morrison Ruritan, and was held in the Morrison School gymnasium.
Nineteen young beauties competed for the title, with Gribble getting the nod from the judges.
She enjoys playing with her twin brother, Mason, and her two dogs.
According to her mother, Jennifer, they entered the pageant to support the community and to have some fun, not thinking she would win.
“It’s great, we just entered for fun, and to have a new experience for her,” said Jennifer.
Other contestants making the royal court are Harper Monroe Patrick, daughter of Jerry and Kandice Patrick, first; Lanie JayLee George, daughter of Jeff George, and Autumn Wanamaker, second; Sophia Brooklyn Moore, daughter of Tera Prater, and Josh Moore, third runner up; and Hollyn Caroline Fuston, daughter of Brandon and Kara Fuston, fourth. Kate Emersyn Williams, daughter of Wes and Kirby Williams, was named the People’s Choice winner.
In addition to the court members, others in the Top 10 include: Demi Quinn Adcock, daughter of Tristan and Justin Adcock; Aubriauna Renee Kelley, daughter of Amber Ralph, and Justin Ralph; Katelee Lanea Ramsey, daughter of Dewayne and Candy Ramsey; Ivy Addison Elrod, daughter of Alan Elrod, and Kristen Washer; and Ava Jayne Watts, daughter of Josh and Erin Watts. 
Retiring queen Kylie Kade Evans, daughter of Brandon and Rachel Evans, presided during the crowning ceremony.
