After a career spanning 32 years in the rural telecommunications industry, Levoy Knowles has announced his retirement. The public is invited to attend a reception next month in his honor at Ben Lomand Connect.The event will be held Monday, Dec. 2, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ben Lomand Connect Plant Operations building. The facility is located at 2484 Smithville Highway.Knowles began his career at Ben Lomand in December 1981 as a staff accountant.
