Reigning Preteen Fairest of the Fair Kalia Stewart relinquished her title Friday in the annual event. She crowned Kate Elyse Gribble, 10, daughter of Darrell and Jennifer Gribble. She is a fifth-grade student at Hickory Creek Elementary. The event was held Friday night, featuring 37 young ladies.

Each contestant in the Top 10 was asked an on-stage question, with Kate’s being “What is your favorite thing to do with your parents and why?”

She answered, “My favorite thing to do with my family is a family movie night and popcorn.”

Joining Kate in the court are Annabella Grace Culwell, daughter of Tommy and Erin Culwell, first; Channing Cope Cummins, daughter of Keith and Alison Martin, and Mike and Jen Cummins, second; and Avery Faith Womack, daughter of Octavian Womack and Chassidy Womack, third.
