A relatively new facility with first-rate equipment and a compassionate staff are the strengths of Saint Thomas River Park Hospital, according to CEO Dale Humphrey.It’s been four months with Humphrey at the helm of our local hospital and a year since Saint Thomas Health purchased sole ownership of the facility. After finding stability, the hospital is now finding its direction.“At 19 years old, this is still a great building and Saint Thomas has really infused a lot of capital into the facility, which is something the previous owner hadn’t done,” said Humphrey, who started at River Park on May 16. “It helps to have the latest equipment and technology, but it all comes down to people caring about other people.
