West Elementary first-grader Zoe Jones has a fun time choosing a colorful balloon at the Back-to-School Bash.
Goats, Polish top hat chickens, miniature pot belly pigs, a 16-year-old tortoise, a dromedary camel and a pair of Patagonia cavys were all stars at West Elementary’s Back-to-School Bash. No, the animals are not attending the school, but they were honored guests at the activity, all provided by DLG Livestock and Exotics of Doyle. Gretchen and Darrell Simmons own and operate the business, supplying fairs, festivals and schools with their assortment of animals.
