Girls invited to enter Miss McMinnville Princess Pageant

Princess hopefuls are invited to participate in the upcoming Miss McMinnville Princess Pageants. The event will feature girls from birth through 12 years of age, with various titles and age groups.
The pageants will be held Nov. 1 at Warren County High School. The event is a fundraiser for the Miss McMinnville Scholarship Pageant, which is a Miss Tennessee, Miss America preliminary pageant. The reigning Miss Tennessee Hayley Lewis will be a special guest. She recently competed at Miss America and was a Top 10 finalist at the competition.
Age and categories include: Tiny Miss, 0-12 months; Baby Miss, 13-24 months; Petite Miss, 25 months-3 years; Little Miss, 4-6 years; Young Miss, 7-9 years; and Preteen, 10-12 years.
The Young Miss winner has the opportunity to be Miss McMinnville’s Iris Princess at Miss Tennessee in June 2015.
Entry fee is $35, and an additional $20 to be eligible for the optional categories. Those categories are prettiest eyes, hair, smile, best personality and best dress.
Applications are available at The Cat’s Meow Formals, Kathy’s Bridal and Formal, Ashley’s Attic,   Merle Norman Cosmetics and Southern Standard,  with the deadline set for Oct. 23.
