4-H holds ice cream contest
BellaWEB
Yum, says Bella Myers as she tastes her brothers Butterfinger ice cream. She and lots of visitors enjoyed sampling the many varieties entered in the first 4-H Homemade Ice Cream Contest.
Cold, creamy ice cream is essential for surviving the hot days of summer, with nothing quite as satisfying as homemade ice cream. The inaugural 4-H Homemade Ice Cream Contest was held at the Farmers Market. The competition was open to 4-H students in 4-12 grades, competing in two divisions, traditional and creative.
