4-H holds ice cream contest
Yum, says Bella Myers as she tastes her brothers Butterfinger ice cream. She and lots of visitors enjoyed sampling the many varieties entered in the first 4-H Homemade Ice Cream Contest.

The inaugural 4-H Homemade Ice Cream Contest was held at the Farmers Market. The competition was open to 4-H students in 4-12 grades, competing in two divisions, traditional and creative.
