Lucky Northside FCE met April 27 for its regular monthly meeting in the 4-H Room of the Extension office. President Sandra Griffith called the meeting to order. For devotional, Irene Fuston read a poem entitled “Each Day I Live” followed by a prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited in unison.
Roll call was answered by all members naming a plant or flower that attracts butterflies. 
Secretary Betty Whitlock read the minutes of the March meeting, which were approved as read. Treasurer Linda Schlimmer gave the financial report.
It was noted that the club’s secretary book won second place and the $15 prize money going in the club treasury.
Paula Barnes and Griffith worked at the Bloodmobile held at the Civic Center recently.
Fuston attended the Grundy County Spring Rally and reported an enjoyable day.  The Sequatchie County Fall Rally will be held on October 17.
The bake sale of the Warren County FCE is coming up at Foodland Plus. The event will be held to raise money for the scholarship to be given to a graduating Warren County High School senior.
Following adjournment, the group went to a local restaurant for lunch.
