Vinson’s Crossroads FCEC had its monthly meeting at the Big Red Barn in Grundy County.  Ten of our members were present. The meeting was called to order by Peggy Richmond, President of Grundy County FCE Council. She led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance, and all members recited the FCE Creed.
Devotion and prayer were given by Grundy County FCEC council devotional leader Judy Myer.
Richmond made several different announcements, with a memoriam recognition given by Brenda Layne. Various classes were given, including yoga, photo taking tips, and CPR.
The guest speaker was Mike Partin, President and CEO of Sequatchie Valley Electric Coopera-tive.  Several lucky members won door prizes. A delicious lunch buffet was provided by Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, FCE Clubs of Grundy County and the Rotary Club. Lunch was followed by a silent auction before the adjournment.
Vinson’s Crossroads FCEC members discussed International Day that will be held on May 17.  All members are supposed to bring a covered dish.  
The next scheduled meeting will be held on May 18.
