Vinson’s Crossroads FCEC had its November meeting in the Magnolia Room. The meeting was called to order by president Frances Hobbs. She introduced her guest Jennifer O’Bannon. The devotional was given by Alda Bandy, who read Psalms 119:23-24. Wilma Davenport led in prayer, and the “Pledge of Allegiance” was led by Hobbs. Roll call was answered with the attendees naming a bird chosen for Thanksgiving, with 12 members and the guest responding.
Secretary Lori Yates read the minutes from the previous meeting. The minutes were corrected and approved. Treasurer Davenport gave the financial report.
Bandy gave a homemade craft to all members and guest. Reading reports were given by Hobbs and Naomi Smith.
After discussion, members agreed to have a work meeting at Blue Hills Cumberland Presbyterian Church to make a gingerbread house for the county council meeting.
The meeting was adjourned after the Club Creed was read. The members went to Pizza Hut for lunch and then we went to the McMinnville Board and Care Home to play Bingo with the residents, and to share cake, ice cream and punch.
