Eleven-year-old Elisabeth Rose Morrison earned the title of 4-H Dairy Princess in the 25th annual pageant held at Three Star Mall. She is the daughter of Karen M. Morrison, and is a student at Cedars of Lebanon Academy.
After receiving her title, the ecstatic beauty said the judges chose her because she had such a big natural smile. She enjoys horseback riding, playing soccer and baseball and playing the piano.
Reigning Princess Sarah Grace Rains, daughter of Johnny and Tonya Rains, crowned her successor and made the award presentations.
Joining her in the royal court include AnnaBelle Marie Miller, first runner-up, daughter of Jesse and Brettley Miller, and Tiffany and Chris Hutchins; and Araya La’Nae Buchanon, second runner-up, daughter of Orlando Buchanon, and Leslie Buchanon. Contestant Mollie McGinnis was awarded the Miss Congeniality honor by her fellow contestants. She is the daughter of Marty and Sherri McGinnis.
In addition to the above girls, the following were named to the Top 8 list: Bailey Madison Glenn, daughter of Kyle Glenn, and Stephanie Hale; Kaydee Elizabeth Rains, daughter of Johnny and Tonya Rains; Andrea Shannon McCormick, daughter of Tracy and Brandi McCormick; and Gabrielle Paige Myers, daughter of Junior and Meshale Myers.
Hilda Lytle was the mistress of ceremonies for the evening, and pageant ushers were William Prater, Jacob Carter and Jacob Scott.
Dairy Month chairman Austin Barry spoke with the group about his month-long activities, and awarded complimentary T-shirts to four lucky attendees.
