Dollywood adds new attractions for 2017

The Wild Eagle at Dollywood provides riders with a breathtaking sweep through the Great Smoky Mountains.
Season tickets are currently on sale at Dollywood with three new attractions adding to the excitement in 2017.For your convenience, season passes can be purchased in six monthly installments of $16.33 for adults or $14.33 for children ages 4-11 to make family entertainment even more affordable.Opening day is approaching on Saturday, March 18.The most eye-catching addition this year is Drop Line, a 200-foot freefall ride that towers above Timber Canyon and provides an incredible view of the mountain resort before its exhilarating finish.Drop Line lifts Dollywood guests nearly 20 stories above Timber Canyon’s pool, before plummeting them back to the ground in a thrilling rush.Also new at the theme park is Whistle Punk Chaser, a new junior coaster opening this summer. This ride throws thrilling twists and turns at Dollywood’s younger loggers, helping prepare them for the day they can join their parents aboard the award-winning Thunderhead wooden coaster.The third 2017 addition comes to Dollywood’s Splash Country where TailSpin Racer joins the offering of water rides.
