Emaly Mae Cox is to become the bride of Brandon Andrew Johnson in an Oct. 21 wedding ceremony at Grace Valley Farm in Shelbyville.
The engagement and upcoming wedding is being revealed by the bride’s parents, Rickey and Mary Ann Cox. The prospective groom is the son of Bill and Tara Johnson of Murfreesboro.
Miss Cox is the granddaughter of the late John R. and Maggie Cox, and Peggy and the late Charles Slaughter. Her fiancé is the grandson of the late Bill and Lucille Johnson of Smithville, Carol Mosley, the late Richard Mosley, and Michael Coningham of Murfreesboro.
She is a 2011 Warren County High School graduate, and earned a bachelor of science in speech language pathology/audiology from Middle Tennessee State University. She also received a master of science in speech language pathology from east Tennessee State University.
Mr. Johnson is a 2010 Siegel High School graduate, and earned a bachelor of science in animal science from MTSU. The couple attends The Experience Community church in Murfreesboro.
