Descendants of James Cope, circa 1776, gathered Aug. 24 at Wayside Community Improvement Club for their annual reunion. Guests, both local and out-of-town, enjoyed a covered dish luncheon and visiting with each other through the afternoon. Assorted door prizes were awarded to some lucky visitors.
