THURSDAY, FEB. 16

Warren County Heritage Alliance will hold its annual membership and organizational meeting at 6 p.m. in the board room at City Hall at 101 East Main Street. MTSU honors history graduate Matthew Hibdon will present a program on Civil War diarist Lucy Virginia French.

SATURDAY, FEB. 18

Shady Grove CIC near Morrison will hold a chili and soup supper at 6 p.m. with musical entertainment following the meal. Donations will be accepted at the door with proceeds going toward upkeep of the building.

The Little Miss Valentine Pageant will be held at 6 p.m., Feb. 18 at Morrison Elementary and is sponsored by Morrison Ruritan. Registration fee is $25 and it is for girls ages 3 to 6 who are not in the first grade yet. All past winners are being invited to attend and be recognized. Contact Cindy at 235-4102. Cedar Grove CIC will hold its monthly supper at 5 p.m. with meatloaf and BBQ plates for $6.

The Warren County Rescue Squad will hold a ham breakfast from 6-9 a.m. at the squad building near the overpass on Sparta Street.

Highland Rim Beekeepers will hold a basic beekeeping class from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LDS Assembly building located at the corner of Shangri La Lane and Highway 55. The deadline to order citrus through the Faulkner Springs Christian School citrus fruit sale is Feb. 20. Texas grapefruit are $33 a case. California navels are $36 a case and California Mandarin oranges are $10 a bag. There are also half cases of the fruits available. To order call 668-8487. Fruit will arrive March 2-5.

The deadline to enter the Snow Princess Pageants is Feb. 21. The pageants are scheduled for March 4 at 12:30 to 6 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Categories range from toddler to 16 and up. Applications may be made at www.facebook.com/snowprincesspageant.

Dream Reality Group is holding its third Taste of Broadway fundraiser at Topz on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Dream Reality Group cast members (past and present) will be performing. Tickets are $20 per person and include dinner, show and frozen yogurt. Proceeds benefit current and future productions by Dream Reality Group. Tickets can be purchased by calling 743-2028, or they are available at the office at 115 West Court Square.

Helping Animals of Warren County will hold its second annual chili cook-off at First United Methodist Church on West Main Street at 5 p.m., Feb. 25. Entry fee for the cooks is $8 and registration can be found on the HAWC Facebook page. All-you-can-eat tickets for adults are $6, and $5 for children 12 and under.
