SUNDAY, OCT. 30

A gospel singing will be held at Bethel Hill Baptist Church at 1137 West Green Hill Road with the Pelham Family. Potluck lunch at noon and the signing will begin at 1 p.m.

Trunk or Treat will be held at Irving College Baptist Church at 8931 Beersheba Highway beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be candy and blow-ups. For information, call 668-2422.

Faulkner Springs Christian School is having its annual fruit sale with fruit from California and Texas. For prices and to order call 668-4093 or 668-8487. Deadline to order is Oct. 30 and the fruit will arrive Nov. 10-13.

Homecoming will be held at Rolling Acres Brethren in Christ Church on Pace Street with William McCormack preaching at 11 a.m. with meal to follow.

MONDAY, OCT. 31

Dress up the kiddos in their Halloween finest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Trick-or-Treat Street in downtown McMinnville. Stop at businesses that have an orange pumpkin in their window and receive a treat.

Trick or treat at Three Star Mall is from 4 to 6 p.m.

A trunk-or-treat will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

TUESDAY, NOV. 1

Westwood Church of Christ will hold a clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m.

THURSDAY, NOV. 3

Locust Street Church of God will hold a clothing giveaway from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its family life center behind the church. A sandwich, soup and chili lunch will be served.

FRIDAY, NOV. 4

The McMinnville Post Office Thanksgiving Food Drive will be held Nov. 4-5. You may place nonperishable food items in or at your mailbox and they will be picked up along with the mail route. The donations go to help needy persons in the community. Monetary donations may be made by calling Brent Walling at 473-2555.

SATURDAY, NOV. 5

McMinnville Noon Exchange is holding its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 and available from Exchange Club members, at Security Federal, or at the door.

Cruisin’ for a Cure will host its annual St. Jude Ride. Sign-in begins at 9 a.m. at Three Star Mall in the parking lot in front of Roses. The event is open to all motorcycles and antique cars. A $10 donation per entry is requested and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude. First bike leaves the parking lot at 10 a.m. T-shirts are $15 but must be ordered in advance. Wonderland of Trees will be held Nov. 7-12 at Three Star Mall from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be center stage entertainment and the Wonderland Craft Fair is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday in the old Bookland space.

The third annual Mother-Son Dance and Date Night will be held Nov. 12 at Viola Valley Community Center at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 per couple and are $10 per additional date. A meal and games are included. Tickets are available at It All Makes Scents and Stacked Bistro on East Main or by texting 314-7499. Proceeds go to help Head Start children have a merry Christmas.
