Christmas trees to spruce up mall Nov. 11-18

Three Star Mall will take on a new life with the 7th annual Wonderland of Trees Nov. 11-18. The charitable event benefits Caring Hearts United, with the goal of bringing assistance to hospice patients in Warren County and surrounding areas.
A magical Christmas wonderland filled with trees, wreaths and holiday vignettes are beautifully decorated and donated by individuals, businesses and organizations. Guests are invited to place silent bids on their favorite items. The Wonderland Store is also open, featuring craft vendors, gifts and decorating items available for purchase.
Admission is free to the public, with Nov. 11, 13 – 18 hours being 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 12 from 1 – 6 p.m.
Entertainment on center stage will feature a large assortment of entertainers. Some of them include Paula’s Dance Academy, Garrison Martial Arts, Grace Ministry Praise Team, the Silver and Gold Brass Quintet and more musical presentations. 
It was noted on Nov. 18, Motlow Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society will bring musical instruments to share information with the public, as well as entertain. They will be followed at 1 p.m. by the Warren County Choir.   
Melinda Breedlove, with Caring Hearts United said, “We have numerous entertainment acts lined up, hopefully something for everyone. We are looking forward to a busy and wonderful week.”  
Children’s activities will be Nov. 17 from 6-7:30 p.m.; and Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. A coloring contest, crafts and games will be available. An area to write letters to Santa will be open the entire week for youngsters to submit their want list. A Christmas tree coloring contest will also be available all week for students in kindergarten through sixth grades.
Caring Hearts United was established in 2011 with the purpose of working with hospice organizations to help meet needs of patients.
