A nip in the air, and temperatures in the 30s, provided an appropriate atmosphere for McMinnville’s annual Christmas parade Saturday. The brisk air also made for a brisk-moving parade as floats and vehicles made their way down Main Street at speeds far faster than the traditional parade pace. At one point, people who were walking and handing out candy had to start running to keep up with their float. The quick pace made for a parade that was over in 16 minutes.
