According to UT-TSU Extension agent Shay Davis, it’s time to start thinking about the 4-H Chick Chain. The Chick Chain project gives youth the opportunity to raise and show chickens, with this year’s breed being the Red Sex Link. 4-H members who participate in the project will receive 15 pullets to care for. At the appropriate time, participants will select their three best chickens to enter in the 4-H Chick Chain Show and Sale during the Warren County A&L Fair in September.
