The wedding of Laura Caroline Carter to Jeffrey Tyler Cantrell of Smithville will take place Oct. 4 in the chapel of Westwood Church of Christ. The bride elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Carter. Her grandparents are Mrs. Betty and the late Shelton Carter of Cowan; and Mrs. Dorothy and the late Billy S. Young of Smithville.
