Viola native and Warren County-educated Eva Stubblefield Maddox will return to McMinnville for a book signing event at Magness Library on Sept. 14 from 5 – 7 p.m. She will be visiting with guests and signing copies of “Eva Maddox Innovator, Designer, Educator,” a book outlining her illustrious life as an interior designer. It was written by Maddox’s former student Romy Wylie and released in 2017. She has been praised as a “visionary design theorist and practitioner, pioneering the branding of interior spaces and originated the theory of patterning.”
