Motlow enters new era of growth

Dr. Tony Kinkel became the new president of Motlow State Community College on Aug. 3, 2015, replacing retired Dr. MaryLou Apple. With the boost provided by Tennessee Promise, Motlow is now the fastest growing college in Tennessee. That includes two-year and four-year schools.Motlow-Smyrna is the third fastest college in headcount growth in the US. Motlow’s current student count of 5,700 is projected to reach 6,000 for the first time this fall.
