Tune your guitar and get ready to take the stage.The Warren County Chamber of Commerce is holding a Battle of the Bands at the Park Theater on April 2 with the winner getting a chance to perform during a Bluegrass Underground show in January 2017.The Battle of the Bands is being held in conjunction with the taping of Bluegrass Underground for PBS. The three-day taping is April 1-3 at Cumberland Caverns.At least one member of the band must be a current or former Warren County resident to be eligible to participate in Battle of the Bands. Registration deadline is March 14.Applicable music genres include Americana, alt-country, blues, folk, bluegrass, country, and rockabilly. Rock ’n roll will be considered but is not typically the genre for Bluegrass Underground.The Battle of the Bands winner will be chosen by a panel of independent judges.
