The sweet southern delicacy, banana pudding, is put in the spotlight at the annual National Banana Pudding Festival held recently in Centerville. The event is the brainchild of 12 community volunteers who wanted a way to earn money to assist disaster victims in Hickman County. Their dream came to fruition in 2010 for the inaugural event, with a standing date set for the first weekend in October.
