AARP sponsors Smart Driver Program

The Smart Driver Program, sponsored by AARP, is being offered at the McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center on Nov. 18-19 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. The class is open to the general public for a $15 fee for AARP members, and $20 for non-members.
Why register for this class?
The program will develop more confidence in your driving ability, increase your knowledge, skill and ability to drive safely and learn new laws and regulations. The two-day class will provide necessary knowledge, skill and ability to operate a vehicle safely and avoid possible accidents.
Attendees should bring their driver’s license and AARP membership card. Ages 50 and older are encouraged to register for this class.  Upon completion of this course, you will be eligible for a three-year discount on vehicle insurance. 
Anyone having taken the course in the last three years should register again to ensure receiving the discount on vehicle insurance.
